Delete a website
Deleting a website removes its files, databases and hosting account. It can’t be undone, so download anything you want to keep first.
- Open the website and click the Delete website tile.
- Under Delete this website, click Delete Website.
- Type the sentence shown, exactly, into the box. The button only works once it matches.
- Click Delete Website.
Before you delete: take a copy of your files with SFTP (Upload files with SFTP) and export your database if you might need them. Backups of a deleted website go with it.
