Refund and Cancellation Policy

Effective date: October 26, 2026

This policy explains how to cancel an Ateculus Cloud hosting or agency plan, what happens afterwards, and when refunds apply. It is part of our Terms of Service.

1. How billing works

Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly as you choose, in US dollars, and renew automatically for another month or another year until you cancel. There are no cancellation fees.

2. How to cancel

You can cancel a plan at any time from the Billing section of the control panel at portal.ateculus.com. If you cannot sign in, contact us from the email address on your account and we will help.

To avoid being charged for the next month or year, cancel before your renewal date. For a yearly plan we email you a reminder at least 15 days before each renewal. Deleting a website’s files, or no longer using a website, does not cancel its plan.

3. What happens after you cancel

  • Your plan stays active until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and it will not renew.
  • At the end of that period the website goes offline, and the website, its databases, and its backups are deleted from our systems.
  • Download your files, export your databases, and move your domain before the end of the period. We cannot restore a website after it has been deleted.
  • If you have an agency plan, cancelling it ends the hosting for every client website in your pool at the end of the period.

4. Changing plans

  • Upgrades take effect right away. You are charged a prorated amount for the rest of the current billing period, whether that is a month or a year.
  • Downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. There is no refund or credit for the difference in the period you have already paid for.

5. Refunds

Payments are not refundable, whether you pay monthly or yearly. That includes partly used billing periods (including the remaining months of a yearly plan), plans you did not use, and plans cancelled after their renewal date.

We will refund you if:

  • you were charged in error, for example charged twice for the same period or charged after your cancellation took effect; or
  • we stop offering a Service you have paid for, or we end your plan for a reason other than a violation of our terms. In that case we refund the fees you prepaid for the time after the service ends.

Fees are not refunded when a service is suspended or terminated for non-payment or for a violation of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. The time they take to appear depends on your card issuer.

6. Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, we will notify you by email and may try the payment again. If the invoice remains unpaid, we may suspend the plan, and if it is still unpaid after further notice, cancel it and delete the website as described above. Keep the payment method on your account up to date.

7. Billing questions and disputes

If you think a charge is wrong, contact us or email [email protected] within 60 days of the invoice date and we will review it. Please talk to us before disputing a charge with your card issuer. Most problems can be resolved faster that way, and we may suspend an account while a chargeback is open.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes do not apply to a billing period you have already paid for.
