Cookie Information

Effective date: October 13, 2026

This page describes the cookies and similar technologies used on this website (ateculus.com) and in the Ateculus control panel (portal.ateculus.com). For how we handle personal information in general, see our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. They let a website remember things between pages, such as the fact that you are signed in. Websites can also store small amounts of information in your browser’s local storage, which works in a similar way.

2. Cookies we use

We use only the cookies needed to run the website and the control panel securely. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not currently use analytics cookies.

On this website (ateculus.com):

  • Browsing the website does not set any cookies of our own.
  • Security cookies from Cloudflare. Our website is delivered through Cloudflare, and the contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a message is sent by a person and not a bot. Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie or use browser storage for that check and to protect the website from abusive traffic.

In the control panel (portal.ateculus.com):

  • ateculus-control-session: keeps you signed in as you move between pages. It expires after about two hours without activity, or when you sign out.
  • XSRF-TOKEN: protects your account by confirming that requests really come from your browser session. It lasts about two hours.
  • A longer-lived sign-in cookie, only if you choose to stay signed in on a device.
  • Appearance preference: your choice of light, dark, or system theme may be stored in your browser so the control panel looks the same on your next visit.
  • Security cookies from Cloudflare, used on the sign-up and sign-in pages for the same bot check described above.
  • Payment cookies from Stripe. When you enter card details, our payment processor may set cookies that it uses to process the payment and to detect fraud.

3. Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, and most browsers let you do this for a single website. If you block the control panel’s cookies you will not be able to sign in, because the session cookie is required. This website will continue to work, although the contact form’s bot check may not.

4. Changes

If we start using other cookies, for example for analytics, we will update this page before we do and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.
