SSH access

Most people never need SSH: the website console and SFTP cover WP-CLI, Composer, Git and file uploads. For tools that need a real SSH connection, such as rsync, VS Code Remote or deploy scripts, ask us for SSH access.

  1. Open the website. Under Advanced settings (click Show), choose SSH access.
  2. If it says Not approved, open a support ticket telling us what you need it for.
  3. Once approved, click View to add your SSH public key and the addresses you’ll connect from.
