Add a domain to a website
A website can answer on more than one domain, for example an old name or a second spelling. Your plan sets how many extra domains each website can have.
Add one
- Open the website and click the Domains tile.
- Under Add domain, enter the domain and click Add.
- At the company that manages the domain’s DNS, point it at us, the same way as your main domain: Point your domain at Ateculus.
- Once it reaches us, it shows Pointing here and is added to your SSL certificate by itself. Click Check now to look straight away.
The www name is added for you and doesn’t count toward your plan.
Which address visitors see
Under Visitors go to, choose whether www.yourdomain.com redirects to yourdomain.com, the other way round, or neither, and click Save.
WordPress sites
WordPress keeps its own address. To change it, pick one under WordPress address and click Use this address. We update WordPress for you.
Remove a domain
Click Remove next to it. The website stops answering on that domain.
