Is WordPress installed for me?
Yes. Choose WordPress when you create a website and it is installed automatically, with its own database and the admin username and password you choose.
Can I move an existing WordPress site to Ateculus?
Moving a WordPress site is free and easy. Download the migration plugin from your new website's page in the control panel, install it on your old site, and it copies itself over. Need a hand, or moving something other than WordPress? Contact us and we will help. Hands-on moves may have a cost, and we will tell you before any work starts.
Who updates WordPress, themes, and plugins?
You do, from your WordPress dashboard, the same way you would on any host. Ateculus manages the hosting platform underneath your site.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Enter your domain when you create the website, then point it to Ateculus when you are ready. Until then you can view the site on a temporary preview URL.
