Use the database console
Run SQL on your website’s database in your browser, already signed in. Handy for a quick look or a small fix, without installing anything.
- Turn on two-factor login first (Turn on two-factor login): the database console asks for a code every time.
- Open the website and click the Database console tile, then Open console.
- Enter the 6-digit code from your app.
- Type SQL, for example
SHOW TABLES;
Changes are made on your live database straight away and can’t be undone. Take a backup first (Backups and restores) if you’re changing data.
